MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia was which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021, he also performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical household both his parents are musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music was a necessity. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar as well as piano. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed the course of his life.
